I believe things happen for a reason and people come into your life at certain times to guide you to the path you are supposed to be on. For some reason or another I was lucky enough to have met someone that introduced me to a world I never knew. She has been my mentor and I have the up most respect for her. Since then I have been on an on-going path to what has become “Blueprint Birth.” Something that started so small has organically evolved into something I did not even know I had in me. Blueprint Birth and I will continue growing and evolving as time goes on.
Blueprint Birth provides a number of different services. Whether you need start-to-finish guidance, or only a birth doula, we offer the flexibility to customize your ideal birth package.
All services can be chosen individually, or can be grouped together for a comprehensive package that best suits the client’s needs.

The importance of a healthy diet, adequate in calories and nutrients, cannot be overstated. Your health, your baby’s health, and a pregnancy free of complications depend in great measure on the quality of your diet. While a prenatal vitamin provides some degree of insurance, it can never replace the nutritional value of food. Whole food is a carefully balanced nutritive complex which provides everything the food has to offer, whether we are aware of its value or not.
We will address your eating habits and exercise habits to make sure that you are getting the best nutrition and exercise for you and your baby. We will also talk about Herbal tonics in pregnancy, and ways to boost your immune system during pregnancy.
The placenta is taken for preparation within the first 72 hours after birth. If you deliver at home the midwife usually will place the placenta in an enclosed container, and if you delivery at a hospital they will do the same. Just make sure once you get home to store it in the refrigerator. The placenta is picked up and taken to my house for preparation. The placenta is prepared in a sterile environment with sterile equipment. The placenta is prepared, dehydrated, and then encapsulated into as many vegan capsules as your placenta provides. Directions for taking the pills will be given to you once they are dropped off.
Tincture is an added bonus in that it can be used in addition to and long after your placenta pills are gone. A small piece of the placenta is fermented in a high grade alcohol, and can be used in any time of trauma, emotional distress and transition for both mother and child. Placenta tincture can be used to extend placenta therapy. Using placenta tincture the same as you would any other tincture, by adding drops into water, tea, juice etc. The mother will get the benefits of decreased anxiety/ sleep disorders, balance hormones and much more.

The Doula provides continual support offering advice on comfort measures; such as relaxing, breathing, positioning, massage, and movement. Doula’s can create a support system that helps connect everyone to play their own role in supporting mom, including acting as an ally for the partner.
Doulas can attend hospital births, home births, or a birthing center. Doulas provide non-medical support, and do not perform clinical tasks or diagnose medical conditions.
Studies have shown that having a doula present at your birth can do the following:
After childbirth many moms experience loss of blood, fatigue and lower pregnancy hormones. These are factors that can cause postpartum depression (PPD). Your placenta houses your pregnancy hormones and when you deliver you have a major hormonal shift. The placenta can help mom with her healing process by replenishing iron and proteins.
